Where are America's conservative universities?

Modern conservatism in the US has been rather anti-intellectual for a while now. At times they seem to be outright opposed to higher education. Given this, it makes sense that few colleges are conservative.
I'd say it's more the other way around: it's because colleges have become ultra-liberal that conservatives have become disillusioned with them.

In order to distinguish we would have to look back at when the trends started. I recall anti-intellectuallism among my conservative friends 20+ years ago. How old is the saving, "facts have a liberal bias"? How long ago did conservative states start defunding public univs?

How long have conservatives been pushing military spending over science and art? These things aren't new.

I'm calling BS on this. Political ideology is neither a hiring criterion nor an admissions criterion. I've been on a fair number of hiring committees at my University and we have never once considered anything related to the applicant's political ideology.
