The stronger the prior belief, the lower the threshold for confirming evidence. Some prior beliefs are so strong that the threshold is zero (e.g., racism is everywhere).

With very strong priors, a single result can overturn the model. Eg. if you think a variable is distributed N(0,1), and you get a value of 1 million, then a proper Bayesian would think it extremely likely the model is misspecified
