I voted for Biden and I'm strongly opposed to impeaching Trump. No one who reads his speech and other statements can seriously claim he incited violence, let alone a coup.

How about his calling the
@GaSecofState and asking him to put in the “right people” to find the votes? (He even named a total.)

It’s in the charge too (I agree that may may a better primary reason to impeach). I guess it all turns on whether you think an actual crime needed to have been committed. If not, there’s a good argument to punish his behavior with impeachment.

Per the Constitution, impeachment is for high crimes and misdemeanors, not just bad behavior.

He knowingly invited armed militias to DC, told them to march, and then as he watched on tv as they broke into the lobby chanting 'hang Mike Pence', he resisted the VP's call for reinforcements. When even Republican leaders stop denying the dog whistles, maybe you should too.

The murder of the police officer, and probably acts like theft of Secret+ laptops, blow up the prosecutorial discretion to accomplices. As the attempt was to overturn the election and murder Democrat leaders, that's explicitly treason & sedition - your high crimes & misdemeanors.
