As MLK put it, a riot is the language of the unheard. If you want to avoid violence, promote free speech.

Well, to be clear, you're not endorsing rioting, right? You're not saying the "unheard" *should* turn to rioting. You're just saying that human nature being what it is, this is how people will react.
