I think content delivery algorithms on huge platforms should somehow present alternate viewpoints from the beginning so as not to send human minds too far down the rabbit holes.

A system that enters instability regimes needs outstanding control measures to be recovered from imminent catastrophic failure. The instability sources are not random, they are trackable to disguised actors that have been moving knobs behind closed doors.

Depends. We need a shared knowledge base so we can figure out what's true and what's false. Social media companies banning conservatives will just drive people further into their echo chambers. Especially if they ban Trump.

This isn't just in the US it's all over the world. I don't clearly understand the dynamic, as the 1930s went along, the economies were recovering all over the world but that's when the fascism peaked. Real wages have been recovering for a long time now.
