I agree with some points you've made, although not all ML algorithms are unbiased in the sense you have used the word in. But my goal is to not nitpick. Your point about representative sampling is well taken but it is not always possible to fix issues in sampling schemes. (1/)

Particularly when there is no explicit control over the data generating process. At a different point you mention that new jobs are created by AI, and give an example that a truck driver can work in construction instead. (2/)

Thanks for sharing -- wish to see a longer version of this. A lot of valid points, but some need more indepth analyses. For example, you didn't address a big concern that the capital gain from automation is mostly distributed toward a small group, widening the inequality gap.
