I too hate this cancel culture. This is too stringent narrow minded, self righteous people who don't allow any differences of opinion. But what is worse is the silent majority who are afraid of the verbal abuse of the first. I would rather express myself and be wrong than afraid.

You're embarrassing yourself, Prof. Domingos. I have huge respect for your work, but please try to observe when you're just digging yourself deeper. Nobody can "cancel" you. Only you can cancel you, by acting in such a way that people are embarrassed to be associated with you.
He's not embarrassing himself. With respect, you sound like a puritan. How would you respond to a person if they spoke to you with such an air of superiority? "Please try to observe when you're just digging yourself deeper ..." Yikes!
