"What a great excuse for letting the few dictate to the many." Is one of the sentences that caused the most damage throughout history. All minority suppression/oppression comes from this idea. Unbelievable to see it said in all seriousness by an educated person, let alone a prof.
Those are false statements. Also, "letting the few dictate to the many" is the definition of dictatorship. Sounds like you're in favor of it.

Not at all Pedro. I come from Italy. I look at fascism. At lot of its rhetoric and political stance was exactly that. And it is now, today, the rhetoric used by far right racist parties to deny rights to refugees and migrants.

fascism, colonialism, racism, any kind of 'phobia' directed towards other humans ... you name it, "we shouldn't let the few dictate to the many" is always the underlying engine of the rhetoric of hate.
