Anima, the NIPS name change was a terrible idea, and the community properly rejected it. What's sad is that in the end you still managed to get the acronym changed to the current clunky, confusion-promoting one.
Anima, please stop insulting people, and please stop trying to dictate your agenda to the machine learning community. Enough is enough!
