Exactly. The system didn't formulate the problem, design the architecture (and search the space of architectures), or fit the model. It just does the computation. In fact, it lacks metacognitive awareness that it is doing anything at all. The prize would have no incentive value

I think so, if it transforms protein modeling. Hard to tell from a press release and blog post, but I'm very excited by the news reports!
