The potential for job creation happens in several of them: price elasticity (expands markets), complementarities (increases labor value), income elasticity (greater total spending), business process redesign (invent new products, services and process and therefore job demand).

Exactly. As an example, if computational biology solves ageing, a new $100T market emerging? That means a lot new types of jobs...some people might want live at age 40 for a decade, 75 for another, then back to age 20...or engineer biosphere at Mars or in space...all comp bio.
