We should be using AI to bring world peace and cooperation not to prepare for Armageddon. Knowledge is power. No civilization with defective morals can survive the growth of knowledge.

Sounds like a straw man. I don't think they were opposed to Maven because it was DoD, I think it was because it was a vision system for military drones.

You have invested a lot of Twitter real estate in this position, but I have yet to see you acknowledge the current commander-in-chief, who has no respect for “Western values,” or the plainly disastrous record of U.S. military action in this century.

I am not a Googler, but if I were, I would be thinking about those two things, not of e.g. what a different America did under vastly different circumstances (WWII). What do you have to say to that, if anything?
