WORST possible recommendation. This is why we can't subject ourselves to global scale policy. This is an outrageous statement

People on twitter are hoping for to go supernova soon. Be careful what you wish for: of course for us it would be harmless and it would be a great show, but there might be living creatures nearby that star.

Plastic has many benefits: it is affordable, versatile, and can help reduce food waste. However, when poorly managed it can pollute the environment and our oceans. Where does the plastic in our oceans come from? What can we do to reduce plastic pollution?

This is a great, data-rich view of plastics in our ocean. Recycling isn't the issue. It's lack of any sort of waste management in large parts of Asia & Africa, which results in people tossing trash (including plastic) into ditches, which then flush out to streams, rivers, oceans.

A gentle reminder on the fact that airplanes do *not* fly because of Bernoulli. Great paper to be provided to any student in the field.

Looking for a primer on stars like Betelgeuse? There's an ebook for that😁 In short: 1) Betelgeuse probably won't explode tomorrow 2) (but if it did it'd be SO COOL) 3) we should observe the heck out of it anyway because it's a red supergiant and AWESOME
