I am headed to Japan next week on a business trip. If I catch the common flu there and develop a fever and the fever is detected at the airport on my way back to the U.S. (are they checking at Japanese airports?) would I be subjected to diagnostic tests, etc.? Does anyone know?

It is really upsetting to see PSA after PSA on hygiene, now even from the CDC with no mention of sanitizing your cell phone which is a third hand that never gets washed. A personal Petri dish. What is the point of washing your hands if you touch your dirty phone after?
