Why wasn’t the parole officer made aware of his most recent arrests?? You may not be the only one at fault but you should at least own your part! #recallChesaBoudin

McAlister was actually arrested on Dec. 20 and on several other occasions but Chesa decided not file criminal charges and that’s on him!

you don’t have to file criminal charges to contact a parole officer, the parole officer should be contacted at arrest

i’m not really sure what it is you think chesa could have done, if he had pressed charges there is a slim to none chance he would not get any jail time, the parole officer would have still declined to revoke parole regardless of what chesa did.

now obviously chesa could have tried to do something, but why, let’s be real here, he is the DA, he does not personally oversee every single case, his job is to use his discretion, the parole board has more power than chesa to do anything but they too saw this man as no threat.
