The DA can file a parole violation directly - they do not have to 'ask' or 'wait' for parole. again - CAN FILE PAROLE VIOLATION DIRECTLY- under Gascon parole violations were filed directly when appropriate. Boudin has policy not to file parole violations directly.

its literally the parole boards job to do this and even they didn't do it, so why would the DA go against the parole board here after he deferred it to them.
