In 2020 @SFDAOffice's DA Investigators handled over 3,000 investigation requests and helped recover $11.8 million in stolen goods.
More great work ahead in 2021!

Yeah but what’s the denominator of the stolen goods $? Isn’t that the metric that actually matters?

yea you’re right, the DA shouldn’t even bother apparently since these people will never be happy or satisfied

What exactly is it that you think the DA is doing if he's not charging property crimes as felonies anymore? So his investigators found some tiny % of the goods stolen...wow, great work. How about you try and discourage the theft to begin with.

have any evidence supporting the effectiveness of cash bail over no-cash bail? or are you arguing that bail should be abolished altogether as a concept?

Physics. You can’t rob someone if you’re in jail, unless you are a wizard in Hogwarts.

people out on bail are not in jail, thats how it works, so I don't think that works

I'm asking for evidence on how no cash bail is less safe than cash bail, do you have any evidence proving that rich people are less likely to reoffend while on bail?
