This is a terrible tragedy and awful end to a brutal year. It is a system failure that resulted in irreversible harm to two families. My heart goes out to the families of the victims. We will hold the man who did this accountable. We will support the families of the victims

Since our
@SF_DPH has instructed@chesaboudin to release another 235/835 prisoners or another 27%, how should he pick which additional ones he now releases in response to medical guidance? https://sfdistrictattorney.org/policy/justice-driven-data/an-epidemic-inside-a-pandemic/ …pic.twitter.com/LFE34YMSqW

Also Paul this man was on parole not on bail, that means he had already been charged with a crime and had served a prison sentence and earned parole by convincing a board and judges to allow him to go early. He was not even in jail.

Parole is a pretty huge feature of our justice system, prisoners who prove they are safe to be released and who are presumably rehabilitated get to leave prison early.

Even when Chesa says he will hold these people accountable he gets attacked, it's quite tiresome to be honest.

this is false, he committed a non-violent offense once in november during a time where Covid rates were spiking and Chesa was being pressured to lower the jail population, please see Paul's earlier tweet.

Because crime is clearly morally superior to law enforcement, they're mostly not violent.
