This is a terrible tragedy and awful end to a brutal year. It is a system failure that resulted in irreversible harm to two families. My heart goes out to the families of the victims. We will hold the man who did this accountable. We will support the families of the victims

Since our
@SF_DPH has instructed@chesaboudin to release another 235/835 prisoners or another 27%, how should he pick which additional ones he now releases in response to medical guidance? https://sfdistrictattorney.org/policy/justice-driven-data/an-epidemic-inside-a-pandemic/ …pic.twitter.com/LFE34YMSqW

Also Paul this man was on parole not on bail, that means he had already been charged with a crime and had served a prison sentence and earned parole by convincing a board and judges to allow him to go early. He was not even in jail.

Parole is a pretty huge feature of our justice system, prisoners who prove they are safe to be released and who are presumably rehabilitated get to leave prison early.

Even when Chesa says he will hold these people accountable he gets attacked, it's quite tiresome to be honest.

If you are saying Chesa could have prevented this man from getting bail, Chesa doesn't have that power, many people get bail, especially for non-violent crimes. Chesa is not a dictator, the judge is the one who decides who gets granted bail.

Not everything is black and white, that's why Justice holds a scale and doesn't just flip a switch that says "JUSTICE". You and many others seem to have a grudge against Chesa, what's your reason? Terrified of crime? "Sins of the Father"? You think he isn't prosecuting anyone?
