    +1 I have always said that I am a ‘know how to find the answer’ person, rather than a ‘know all the answers’ person. Like hey, Idk but I will find out and figure it out. I feel like that’s just hacker 101. Anyone who claims otherwise is likely insecure (in more ways than one)

    Learn your methodology. Learn solid enumeration. Many lab boxes have multiple vectors, try 'em. When I started, I just rushed through and thought getting root was another notch and moved on. That hurt my learning. Take your time, learn along the way, and it'll make you better.

    Yep, everyone has their own advice for taking the class. So here's mine: Read the book, watch the videos. But more importantly when in the labs, it's about the journey, not the destination. Don't rush to root. Learn along the way.
