VKD-45a debris generation occurred over a 2 hr period (2010-2210 UTC Dec 11) with the largest rate around 2047-2050 UTC. Probably at least 50 pieces above 1 cm in size, but only a few above 10 cm.

How hard did they try to collect the stuff? Or is it no problem?

Since the pieces are very low density they are expected to reenter soon and there is no concern of recontact or collision according to
@NASA.
