Just don't forget the annual loss of efficacy of renewables requiring further installs to make-up for the annual decline of between 1/2 to 1% of the nameplate power. Primarily Solar PV but now, batteries as well (if cycled daily, annual can be more than 1% loss of capacity).

To reliably supply a system with 50% renewables it would take double that in batteries. A 1000 mw system would require 1000 mw in batteries to be somewhat stable. 1000 mw is a small system.

That graph shows primary energy. Its really hard to compare fossil fuels, which have roughly 20-45% efficiency, to renewables, which have roughly 80-95% efficiency.

It doesnt matter what the efficiency is when the sun doesnt shine and the wind doesnt blow. Green energy is a financial scam and all economic studies show this
