Here @NYPDCentralPark Officer Valerio blatantly violated the civil rights of one of our contributors, who he observed openly taking photographs of vehicles with missing & defaced license plates in our "car-free" @CentralParkNYC. Then he & others flatly refuse to enforce the law.pic.twitter.com/VfdNgtpXE6

Here was the car in @CentralParkNYC that our contributor was photographing when he was illegally stopped by the #placardperp's buddies from @NYPDCentralPark. Notice the effaced license plate, expired @nysdmv registration, and illegal windshield tint. #placardcorruptionpic.twitter.com/h1mRCqhXwY

Taking photos in public is lawful activity. There was no probable cause to stop a law-abiding citizen. This dirty officer - with his backup muscle - was deliberately flexing to intimidate somebody he observed documenting their #placardcorruption. Pretending otherwise is silly.pic.twitter.com/6KVtpeTS9R

It is the bridle path next to the reservoir. It looks like a parking lot because it has been taken over by the #placardclass for their personal vehicles, plus those of family & friends. Some parking is allowed by permit, but very many of the cars have no business there at all.
