Here is Officer Brown accosting somebody taking a photo, then pretending he can't see the illegally parked car with a defaced license plate & then pretending he can't write it a summons.

Last we checked, didn't cover Wall Street. And placards weren't valid for parking in a No Standing zone.

Petty corruption is alive and well in your district. If you want to reduce crime stop parking in bike lanes.

Still waiting to be lied to on several reports from last year. Rest assured, illegal double parking, bike lane blocking, and sidewalk driving continues unabated on the 500 block of Dean (and all other sides of ) in 2019.

Parked illegally. Really excessive illegal window tint. But hey, there's a suction cupped illegally to the windshield, so won't ticket it.

Once again “police took action” while not ticketing. Vehicle still there w/o summons. weed out this corruption from our police force where falsifying responses to citizens is ok and commonplace.

Up until recently, there were two huge lots near dedicated to NYPD and FDNY personnel. They still parked in bus stops, crosswalks, curb cuts, no-parking zones, and traffic lanes if it meant they could be twenty steps closer to work, many with fake (or no) placards.

They actively monitor their own illegal parking all day long. It requires vigilance, because there's no telling when some bothersome citizen might try to complain about their misconduct.

Even if this was "Official Business," the placard is not authorization to park illegally on the sidewalk. This was definitely not an emergency operation. The are here all dah every day.

Can you please tell me if either this MILITARY parking placard or DOD registration (R2Y-2X7) are valid for parking on a sidewalk in Long Island City, Queens? It seems like to me but I’m just a civilian. Thank you.

I didn't get a picture of the placard but I doubt it permitted sidewalk parking. With all the police outside the courthouse I'm surprised he wasnt towed.
