Having the self-belief that you will be able to figure things out as you go along is critical to success at anything hard. Get started and trust yourself. No one has all the answers at the beginning.

The takeaway: 1) 💪 Put the hard work in 2) 🧠 Set aside your ego 3) 📤 Hit the publish, or deploy, or whatever it is for you button 4) 🎤 Share the heck out of it

If you think that you don't have what it takes to write something that people will actually read, think again. I'm no Shakespeare with average English and this post reached over 25k people in just 5 days. Don't be scared of that publish button, it doesn't bite!

This the second time I shared an article on and after hitting the publish button realized you can't upvote, comment or see it anywhere. Is this normal or is my account broken, thoughts ?

I've been using the `data:text/html` trick in chrome to make notes for years now, but just took it to the next level: an actual HTML/CSS/JS editor by pasting 400 bytes of code into the URL bar

Doctors won’t make you healthy. Nutritionists won’t make you slim. Teachers won’t make you smart. Gurus won’t make you calm. Mentors won’t make you rich. Trainers won’t make you fit. Ultimately, you have to take responsibility. Save yourself.

When I was (more of) a beginner, I would obsess over details like folder structure. These days I put everything in a single folder until it becomes a problem. It rarely does. Organizing your project can reduce cognitive load, but it can just as easily create it. It's a fine line

The difference between UI and UX in one image. The key to understanding UX is to introduce time. Things like an increase in anxiety (wait, what?) or running out of time (this is taking too long!) happen at specific moments.

Shower thought 🚿 Some founders/managers feel threatened or uncomfortable hiring people that are more experienced or different than themselves. A good rule of thumb: Hire people you can learn from.
