Well worse than that, it makes niche channels, like what I do (I mostly cover a specialized programming language) more or less impossible to ever be monetized. But meme channels and trash-talk channels will have no problem meeting those requirements.
it's completely backwards from what YouTube says they want. Idk if they're clueless, or actively trying to deceive people. But considering this seems to be their "response" to the Logan Paul issue... my guess is they're clueless.
