"Article 15" should be the necessary context for people to realize something doesn't apply to them and is outside of their domain of understanding. But people are pushing general politics real hard on a very niche area. Go figure.

Why would you use Prader Willi as a control group rather than random selection from the broad population?

Of course though, that's exactly what's going on, with a growing number of self-identified autists taking over an actual disorder as if it's hip and trendy and somehow of some benefit to them. But I've been on enough political tirades today.

Why is there a growing amount of academic literature that uses "autism identity" instead of "autism spectrum disorder" or just "autism"? This is a neurological and endocrinological disorder. You can't just identify as having it.

I just published a nuget package, PointerToolkit, that lets you do Unsafe, Interlocked, and Volatile operations on ref T* (refs to pointers), which otherwise isn't possible:

Notice how the Progs obsess over northern European countries with extremely high rates of whites. Notice how the Progs make sure to let everyone know how unappealing our country allegedly is to non-whites. You're smart. You can make the connection.

But a priest who listens and reframes your problems and challenges your assumptions? That's good. Religiosity is merely coincidental in that instance. And it's certainly more available to the poor where mental illness is so rampant.

I think we can draw a distinction here, that even applies with psychotherapists. If they are involved in indoctrination, like the scientologists, adventists, mormons, roman catholics... Or even the psychotherapists who push politics as therapy.... That's bad.

Considering psychs own research belies it's ineffectiveness over the "placebo" overemphasis of "skilled therapy" is, in my opinion, a terrible idea. Especially since it paywalls access to mental fortitude.

Christianity in particular warped this into the same self flagellation and shame we see with wokeness. That is absolutely a bad thing. But what I think/hope was the original intention is access to someone to talk to, something incredibly necessary.

I rallied hard against religion when I was younger. I'm still not a religious man, and with our understanding of what effects religiosity I doubt I will ever be. But it does mean, especially for the poor, access to a priest or whatever, is hugely beneficial for mental health.
