Ay! This one was a tough one playing two characters that interact almost back to back. LOVE hearing it come together

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! 🎃 I didn't think I'd get to produce a Fright Night audio drama story this year but then @CarlGBrooks swooped in & saved the day with a super fun tale about the ghosts in the machine...or in the recording booth! youtu.be/slZRmwx59eY

I'm prepping music for camping, which means pulling full sound tracks to listen through. What I've selected as "optimal camping music": Prince of Egypt Tommy (movie sountrack, not album) Repo! The Genetic Opera The Book of Mormon Hairspray (broadway cast, not movie)

hello friends!! I’m looking for BIPOC artists who draw or would draw good creepy horror illustrations! It can range from gorey to quietly unsettling, any style. Would especially love artists who work in black and white. This is a paid gig 💚 pls comment with portfolios!

My toxic writing trait is wanting to use the word "plasticine" in sci-fi stories because it sounds so techy, while knowing full well a console coated in what's ostensibly PlayDoh is the exact opposite of what I actually want.

OMG I'm in a webinar and we're being told to explore internal biases. Cool! Great! The example she gave was basically having "bias" against someone who's in a certain "religion" that's famously terrible, and I'm like oh honey. Oh no. That's...that's not the same thing...

My six year old guest asked about my desk Yeti Mic. I asked him if he wanted to hear his own voice. "What do I say?" "Anything you want, bud!" Let us henceforth abide by his wisdom, recorded for all eternity: "Poopy butt."

But the musical ep of Grey's matches the tone of the show. All drama, all the time with constant escalation. So a jukebox musical ver. of this reads as a show choir performance without the whimsy. Technically sound, well-performed, but not really a fun watching experience.

But I think this actually speaks to why the Scrubs musical episode is SO GOOD. The songs are comedic. But they're earnest, and they contrast with the more serious medical condition and the background personal strife. So when the actual drama hits it's like a hammer. It HURTS.
