Not sure why everyone is asking for a title reveal in the Nintendo Direct. It's clearly already been announced as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Spring 2023.

According to a Nikkei report Nintendo is planning to shrink the size of the Nintendo Switch packaging by 20%
This is meant to improve transportation efficiency and help with supply issues
https://vooks.net/nintendo-to-shrink-switch-packaging-to-boost-shipping-efficiency/…
Recently I keep seeing the V2 Nintendo Switch getting discounted even further down across a bunch of UK online retailers. Went from £279 to £259, now £229.
Seems odd considering Nintendo's current supply issues. Are they trying to clear stock?
Nikkei: there will be no new Nintendo hardware this fiscal year, which ends in March 2023. Not immediately clear whether that part of the article is from Nikkei's own reporting or what Nintendo President, who Nikkei interviewed for the story, said. https://nikkei.com/article/DGXZQOUF226IN0S2A720C2000000/…

Welp. Tried to keep away from these types of rumours for so long, but way too much smoke now.
It looks like a new model could be announced towards the end of the year.
Apparently works with current carts, improved perf, retains branding & form factor.
No more info than that.
A new #NintendoDirectMini: Partner Showcase is on the way!

Yacht Club Games just released all their Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove sprites, game art, etc under a CC noncommercial license.
Amazing reference point for pixel artists, aspiring devs, Shovel Knight fans, and everyone in between.
Major kudos to the team.
We are finally realizing one or our dreams by publishing a nearly 1 gigabyte .ZIP containing ALL of the art from 7 years of production on Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove!
We’re publishing it under a Creative Commons license!

These guys were the best evidence that Nintendo didn't do acquisitions lol
Their office is in the Nintendo HQ and they've been supporting Nintendo since 1979, but they were never owned by Nintendo. Until now. twitter.com/NintendoCoLtd/…
Guess I'm going to stop reading reviews and just start using Horizon franchise releases dates as my guide to buying games now. Whatever comes after is destined to be GOTY.
Without giving too much away... this Nintendo Direct will definitely resonate with people who like to watch a set of predetermined advertisements arranged by employees of a multinational video game company in a way as to maximise consumer interest.
But don't quote me on that.
We're in the cycle where rumour twitter accounts will say things like
"Let's just say the Nintendo Direct will satisfy people who resonate with specific games"
Nearly 5 years after launch and the Nintendo Switch shows no signs of slowing down.
Nintendo just broke their previous weekly sales record for hardware across UK/EU.
