    There's a protest vigil against the death penalty every Monday at noon in front of the Governor's Mansion (or inside the Capitol during inclement weather). If you, like us, are horrified at the ongoing killing spree, take to the streets and join us.

    The is the ultimate expression of state violence. We shouldn’t tolerate state violence against our people on ANY level. Police, prisons, death at the hands of the government is unacceptable. Taking to the streets to stop it is a moral choice.

    For what it’s worth, I don’t think anyone has to be innocent, or a hero, or redeemed for their life to be worth saving. I don’t think we should kill people. It’s that simple. Because someone has blood on their hands doesn’t mean we should collectively have blood on ours.

    I spoke with yesterday alongside his legal team. Brandon told us about everything he was grateful for in his life. He died with dignity and love, in spite of the cruel, unjust system that condemned him to die as a result of egregious prosecutorial misconduct.
