First experiment went well. The film scanned frame by frame digitally.pic.twitter.com/6JuMeogP9y

Capturing 67 digital animated pixel art frames to 35mm film.pic.twitter.com/cIdK0TOu2X
Thinking about taking pictures with motor drive mounted in SLR camera. Unfortunately the fastest motor drive could only captures in 14 fps (Nikon MD-100), it's rare & super pricey. Within the same price, I'd rather get a vintage or real 35mm movie camera.
Also considering @lomography Lomokino 35mm movie camera. Only work for live-action, not for frame-by-frame capture. The frame dimension is 21:9 cinematic widescreen, need to test it with regular 35mm movie projector.pic.twitter.com/z06jQolJSa
Got the projector. 1920s Keystone Moviegraph 154W. Need a bit cleaning here and there.pic.twitter.com/x2PkSVpPqL
Our first animated pixel-art in 35mm format! I have to crank it faster and make the animation longer

Time to redoing Winsor McKay’s Gertie the Dinosaur in digital era.
Just learned that 1 standard still photography exposure can be splitted into 2 frames with 1.375 : 1 ratio each.pic.twitter.com/5bo9btLnLh
So, instead of taking 1 exposure for 1 frame of animation, better to split 1 exposure for 2 frames of animation.pic.twitter.com/4jjOpqdeoe
This means, 1 (one) roll of 35mm still photography film may contain up to 72 frames of animation.pic.twitter.com/jD40ZIA2nS
My first experience developing negative film! I’m so proud of myself

Not bad. The ratio is much better than the previous one. Time to try with longer animation or motion picture. Let me know what you're thinking

Half-frame camera is needed. Looking at Olympus Pen EE half frame camera. Hat tips to @julio_dx @cfdevpic.twitter.com/gVC3jezuJr
Made a little mod for the Konstruktor camera so it can captures in half frame. Let see if it works.pic.twitter.com/lcna94CkOu
Sometimes you need to create your own tool to fulfill your idea. I believe Konstruktor built with this hack purpose

We have fancy frame counter now. Not pretty but does the job.pic.twitter.com/UIbCosItYx

Testing with half-frame camera, Olympus PEN FT. The gap size between frames are inconsistent. Ideally, it has to be in 0.5mm for every gap.pic.twitter.com/P5td4jEw74
