    Heya! I’m a comic artist/illustrator with a taste for somewhat more macabre science fiction and fantasy (and horror!) I’m comfortable working with both digital and traditional materials, too.

    Had a nightmare that played heavily on my submechanophobia the other day, and now I’m seriously looking at turning it into a short horror comic. If I’m gonna have way more nightmares and stress dreams than normal dreams, then they can start paying rent

    (CW: alcohol) I’ve had my fruit soaking in brandy since early September. I don’t normally touch anything alcoholic, but this is one of my exceptions. I’m pretty sure you could get drunk off my fruit cakes if you have more than a small slice!

    For those not accustomed to Christmas cake, you generally make it months in advance, and keep "feeding" it alcohol, often sherry, brandy, rum, but we're using bourbon. Come Christmas, this'll be amazing.

    I just wanna say thank you to Past Me for getting a tattoo. I often forget I have one, so it’s a delightful surprise when I catch a glimpse of the beautiful skull and butterfly on my arm

    So I earned a new wrinkle on my brain :) The writers on a book I am working on used "Fenty" make up foundation codes to express the skin colors of the characters they are introducing. Pure genius shorthand for skin color. Wish I thought of using it But I have never use foundation

    WELP, my only convention for this year has been cancelled for the second year in a row because our provincial government didn’t listen to the warnings and now we’re having a major 4th wave spike. I’ll be opening up my Etsy shop soon to try to recoup some of my costs

    I thought it’d be a beautiful day to sit outside and draw while sipping a nice PSL and work on a print. Every aphid in a 3 km radius thought it’d be a good day to throw themselves at my face and drown in my drink. Send help

    Just put in an order for this year’s holiday cards! “But it’s not even close to December!” Well, no. It’s not. However, I got these early so that they’ll be available for sale at my table at this year!

    An illustration of a smiling family sitting on a couch in front of a cozy holiday scene. There’s a tree to the right decorated with colourful balls, a fireplace with a roaring fire and stockings hung on the mantle, and a window that shows a snowy night sky. The family consists of a young girl, a father, a mother holding a baby, and a dog wearing fake reindeer antlers. They have all been fused into a single amorphous entity on the couch, with their limbs twisted and atrophied or twisted into claws and temples. Plant-like growths of flesh protrude from them, elevating eyes and organs above the couch. They are all still smiling

    (CW: suicide) WTF. I know the comics industry has a bad habit of preying on comic creators, but this is… wow. Important thread for my fellow indie creators, but be warned that it is heavy

    I refuse to buy anything printed by Action Labs as a private reader, nor do I allow their products to be stocked. In 2018 they picked up my friend Gordon's book for publication. Gordon had toured the indie scene for years with his stuff and getting published was a huge deal /1
