Still want to use a build tool like Babel and TypeScript? You can! Most tools run up to 10x faster per-change in Snowpack apps vs. traditionally-bundled apps (no huge bundles to rebuild on every change, just that one file).

Am I missing something or is this not really a replacement for bundling? Love the idea of prebuilt modules on install, but without a bundler you’re going to make a whole lot of HTTP requests to load your app. Code splitting is one thing, but this seems far too granular.

Each dependency (including all internal files, sub-dependencies, and anything CJS) is compiled into a single ESM JS file. If it helps, you can think of it like a traditional bundler, but only for your dependencies. Simplified example:pic.twitter.com/CvccQo25q6
