saying that detransitioners should have a significant voice regarding transgender issues is like saying that a person without adhd who decided to take adhd meds and then stopped should have a say in how adhd people feel about those meds...... like... you DEtransitioned 1/2

*I am muting this thread now* but let me clarify - detrans people can and should help others going thru similar experiences so that they don't make the same mistake! my only problem is them stagings things like "transitioning didn't work for me so it doesn't work for anyone and -

People who stop taking meds because they realize they don't have ADHD shouldn't have a say in some things, but can and should have a say in others. E.g. the side effects of meds, spreading awareness about how to get an accurate diagnosis

The detrans worth listening to aren't transphobes! They want everyone to be as comfortable in their body as possible, and they want people to have the tools they need to figure out how to get there. They've been on that journey, so sometimes they have valuable insight!

Transgenderism seems to be the only non-medical condition needing medical intervention, medical insurance and social validation as an identity. It is self-expression and it is a painful condition needing “treatment,” simultaneouslyhttps://www.the11thhourblog.com/post/custom-vaginoplasty-for-your-inner-well-being?fbclid=IwAR3q42Ye0UeDsO9dXcYAMkV6O6zDKEVUOibqokXOmY5pCBFDerb9cHHJXz8 …
