More evidence for terrestriality in baurusuchids. Great to see notosuchian endocast/endocranial morphology being more explored! Fonseca et al. (2020) Morphology of the endocranial cavities of Campinasuchus dinizi from the Upper Cretaceous of Brazil

On Day 17 of I bring you the very cute hatchling dinosaur Mussaurus, which is at the PVL in Tucuman. This Late Triassic beastie was one of the first baby dinosaurs to be described and was found before the adults had been recognised

So as predicted the last three months have indeed been slightly (very) crazy. 3 continents, 46 croc specimens, and 23 different beds/sofas/floors later, I’m finally back home for Christmas. Not at all exhausted. Definitely didn’t sleep for 12 hours last night.🐊🎅🏼

Made With Love is a really awesome scheme that takes items donated to St. Elizabeth Hospice (based in my hometown of Ipswich) and upcycles them so that they can be loved again. For example an old unravelling jumper that might otherwise be thrown away can be made into a (2/4)

1 year ago on my first trip to S. America I got to chill with the really rather epic Patagotitan. Now that I’m back, I’ve moved on to much smaller (but equally as awesome) things. Meet Adamantinasuchus navae, a notosuchian crocodylomorph measuring just 60cm from head to tail 🦕🐊
