I know exactly how it works - I fired one on CNN. They’re light, easy to shoot & fire as fast as your finger can pull the trigger. Let me expand my question: why does any civilian need ANY semi-automatic weapon?https://twitter.com/highpriestemrys/status/980930826337705984 …

Rapid fire killing machine? Just stop with the dramatics. The AR-15 fires at the same rate as every semi auto rifle or handgun in existence. Either you're ignorant to how this rifle works, or you're virtue signalling. This is why gun owners won't have a serious talk with you.

Last time an Englishman told Americans what kind of guns they "needed" was at Lexington and Concord. Our answer remains the same.

Why did Rosa Parks need to sit in the front of the bus? The #2A is not about whats needed. It's our right.

The constitution is a natural right? It just appeared, did it? I thought it was written by men at a time in history when, maybe, it made sense. Things change. Was it once a 'natural' right to own slaves? A lot of things seem right when people didn't know better!Grow the fuck up!

But the acid attack would still take place though right? And if civilians didn’t have guns then the police would catch the attacker, so why not just let police have guns rather than let untrained civilians be judge, jury, executioner?

Because for some reason it is a belief that every citizen would become a trained law enforcer with a gun.

Very reasonable assertion to make. I can think of no one better to protect me than Linda next door. After I’ve been left blinded by the acid attack she kills my attacker and puts 7 bullets in my skull. I’m dead of course but thank god she was there.

We remember what the King George & his English Henchmen did to us, so why would you disarm freedom protectors. If a bad Gov rises in the USA then Militia will take them down. Not to mention gun ownership also 1st Amendment protected. Do you remember the 1st?
