Rajdeep Sahab that's because Pakistan doesn't depend on the money the US is threatening to cut off and the US still needs Pakistan's GLOCs and military facilities to wage its war in Afghanistan.

Waqar sahab, No doubt USA still needs pakistans help when it comes to military facilities and many other even though they have their air bases in Afghan. But most of the terrorists like Haqani group, mulah mansur akhtar, Hafees sayeed they are all in 🇵🇰. Osama was there too !

I'll start with Akhtar Mansour. Pakistan propped him up because at that time the US and Kabul were asking Pakistan to bring the Taliban to the negotiating table. He was the one among the Taliban most amenable to peace. Then the US zapped him with a drone.

Interestingly, he lived mostly in Iran with his family. The US waited for him to enter Pakistani territory before zapping him. Also on his Pakistani passport he traveled 35 times to Dubai to do fundraising. They could've nabbed him there. I wonder why they didn't.

About Hafiz Saeed, Pakistan announced it's taking over all his charities and most likely more screws will be tightened on him. I've yet to see what comes of all that.

The Haqqani Network was in Pakistan in the past but when Pakistan was launching its operation in North Waziristan in 2014 (where they used to be based), it made them relocate to Afghanistan's Paktia, Paktika and Khost provinces (Jalaluddin Haqqani's ancestral lands).

Yes. It also provided a safe haven to Osama Bin Laden and his family in Abbottabad less than a mile away from Pakistan Military Academy.
