Quite content with @pid_gov for shedding light in this burning issue. As tourist, particularly internal tourist travelleing in Pakistan, it’s our utmost responsibility to keep the environment clean. The best way is to put all wrappers etc in backpack instead of ruining the beauty

I’d suggest something similar. All the fee irrespective of the amount could be used to set up waste management company who’ll employ locals to keep the given place clean. This way not would the environment be cleaned but it will lead to job creation.

Agree. Tourists should be responsible. When they go foreign, sari tameez ajati hai & forget all at home. Further, the government should declare most beautiful places as preserved areas and impose a fee for each tourist. About Rs 150/pax.
