BTW, it appears to me there are plenty of misconceptions about what casync does in place. Maybe we can clear those up in person at http://devconf.cz or FOSDEM or so? You guys around there?

I won't be around unfortunately, but I will say that I massively misunderstood casync on my first reading of the release blog post (when it first came out) and I clearly misunderstood it multiple times since then. :P

A pity, I would have loved to buy you two a beer or two just to foster the conversation :)

Funnily enough, I submitted a talk specifically about OCIv2 to the containers track. Couldn't get budget to go unfortunately. :/

From .au? From Nuremberg there's the SUSE bus, no?

Yeah, from .au. I was planning on bank-rolling it myself, but if I was going to fund myself going to Europe I would go in a nicer time of year (and go for longer, taking my partner with me). :P

there's the Linux Foundation Travel Fund for cases like this btw. https://events.linuxfoundation.org/travel-fund-request/ … I used them myself a couple of times, and they are very friendly and good folks!
