Just to be clear, the web of lies this conferences confronted attendees, sponsors, speakers (incl me) and the community with is appalling. Livestream tickets with no cameras, very messy travel arrangements and wildly exaggerating numbers, all not ok.

Organising a conference is hard, mistakes get made and that’s a fact of life.
For real though, this is another level of incompetence. They’ve taken the community for mugs. Don’t let them get away with it.

So far I’ve heard that the organisers have not speaker sorted travel and acclamation for a massive £600 a ticket conference.
They hadn’t even sorted the schedule until last minute.
They’ve cancelled workshops, leaving speakers already in London stranded.
