- a subscribers-only feed for "60 Songs" that doesn't give away the artist or song in the description. You have to listen to Rob's intro to find out the subject of the episode. I 100% would pay for this.
Sad to see this happen to fellow photojournalist Jason Hirschfeld. My heart goes out to family/colleagues.
I know we've all taken risks to get a cool shot. This one hits home. I was sitting on a railing of a parking garage a few months ago.
Be careful.
It's nice to see a reader writing about "how important local news reporting and columnists are in assuring good local government." So many people's perceptions of local news get tied up in national politics, but in most community reporting, this is the real motivation.
I get it. It seems easier to throw out a question on social media and let someone else get the answer for you. But 90% of what you have to wade through is useless. We have a whole staff of people who work every day to answer your questions, often before you think to ask them. 3/4
My point being, the website of your local newspaper is full of information that you want to know about your community. When you buy a subscription, you’re not just getting each days news, but all the news going back years and decades. (2/4)

Strikingly simple, revealing photo of Trump on the cover of @NYMag by @nytimes photographer Damon Winter. Wonder which came first, the headline or the photo? Either way, great cover @Olivianuzzi.
Lots of young people getting involved on election day in Montville. Brothers Jason and Adam Sheriden were selling raffle tickets, and Montville High School students Leigh Church, Matthew Malbaurn and Quentin DeShong were volunteering as election officials.
WHAT A FINISH! In the closest finish of the meet, East Lyme beat Fitch by one tenth of a second to win the 200 yard freestyle relay at the ECC girls swimming championship meet. East Lyme's relay team consisted of Ella Pape, Kauren Hinckley, Julia Morcos and Sandra Kirvelevicius.
Buonocore is your defense. The biggest fraud in the entire ECC. Lmao Peter give it up dude. Being assigned to do your job is not a defense. And even if you “proved” me wrong itd bring me joy. Unfortunately its been the same nonsense since the early 2000s
effort this week to livestream/create highlight packages for every single ECC championship - three in one day Thursday - capped today with swimming. Casey O’Neil and
Though she doesn’t get much playing time, Ledyard senior Lindsay Davies prides herself on being the loudest voice in the gym. After losing her father to suicide, she says she wants to be “a bright light” for everyone around her.
