    Agree. Full stop. We only have 2 political parties capable of winning majorities in Congress or have the means to blow more than a billion dollars handing media money for the privilege of the wealthy to compete with each other to rule over us. Which one gets to write these rules?

    Congress is reluctant to use its power under the Elections Clause to set standards for the states. This could be an area where the diversity of federalism is a disadvantage.
