Last three lots of film I developed have needed to be re-fixed. Fixer (ilford rapid fix) is fresh and made to correct strength.
Why? Maybe temperature? Maybe an inhibitor in the water?

That's strange. Could you raise it with our tech team? Temperature can effect fixing which s why we always recommend chems are at 20 deg but this shouldn't be happening.
