Hi @YTCreators and @TeamYouTube if I have an unlisted or private video, will the #YouTube Copyright system still detect this video if it is stolen a reuploaded by another user?
Thanks!

Hey
@robertoblake putting unlisted YouTube videos behind a paywall sounds risky; it’s pretty easy to find the ID and share that, no? I use@Vimeo for this because you can block video by URL, allowing embedding ONLY on your site.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Also seems neither of us could use Content ID. Disqualifiers include videos with “software visuals” (so your photoshop tutorials) and “music … that was licensed, but without exclusivity” (so any licensed music in the show). Seems VERY limiting, frankly.

On the music side I’m having exclusive music composed partly for this reason

Impressive and a lot more effort (and $) than most YouTubers can handle. What about the software side though? Or maybe this training specifically isn’t about that. The guidelines appear to apply to your entire channel, no?

Majority of my content because of my voice and exclusive information and my face and likeness would apply and my existing copyright is graphics and my trademarked logos.Using software screen spa in part doesn’t disqualify the rest.

If you’re able to get it let us know. Seems like the software would kill it. I’ve had to file hundreds of infringement reports and my channel is small. Can’t imagine what it’s like for bigger channels.
