Hi @YTCreators and @TeamYouTube if I have an unlisted or private video, will the #YouTube Copyright system still detect this video if it is stolen a reuploaded by another user?
Thanks!

Hey
@robertoblake putting unlisted YouTube videos behind a paywall sounds risky; it’s pretty easy to find the ID and share that, no? I use@Vimeo for this because you can block video by URL, allowing embedding ONLY on your site.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Also seems neither of us could use Content ID. Disqualifiers include videos with “software visuals” (so your photoshop tutorials) and “music … that was licensed, but without exclusivity” (so any licensed music in the show). Seems VERY limiting, frankly.

The videos are hosted elsewhere, the idea is that if they are in a YouTube system I can detect matching if someone uploads a d have precedent for removal and copyright flag as well as more evidence if I need to take legal action They would not be linked anywhere
