the incel end-ideology obviously is toxic & dumb, but the underlying observation that they're losers at the bottom of a system that disproportionately rewards people at the top both economically and socially seems compatible with our worldview

you are just repeating their worldview. what system are they losing out in other than romantic social relationships? and in that system, they're "losing out" to women having greater agency to choose their partners.

i'm really not. to be clear: their worldview is wrong. their problem is not female agency; it's patriarchy + capitalism. consider that these shitty dudes all hold dead end jobs they lack the skills to exit, and have basically zero real life community to engage with.

the path to becoming an incel begins with being a socially isolated, economically precarious young man alienated from their production. those conditions (plus cishet patriarchal supremacy) are what imho leads them to being susceptible to mind poison.
