That might even be a low end forecast. Conditions are far from perfect, but unless Michael undergoes and EWRC between now and landfall, decent chance to strengthen even more.

That's because climate change is real. The ocean can't cool off. We can expect more catastrophic weather untl we change from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Expect more severe extremes in weather until politicians face up to the scientific truth.
