There is the problem that women think they can just treat guys like dirt and expect men to take it. There are many women who have been empowered so much now, they bully guys if they’re not picture perfect according to Disney and TV shows.

This is exactly the kind of logic found on these boards.

Just to clarify this: I don’t think it’s really systemic that women are bullying men, in any capacity. Also, if women, as a gender, feel more empowered to reject partners because of certain behaviour, I don’t see that as a bad thing. Being in a relationship is not a right.

There are many factors to consider. Women aren’t the Angels and Men the Sexual predators. This issue has nothing to do with relationships. The issue is pre-relationships. Abuse is faceless.

It’s difficult for me to have a serious conversation about abuse, because I don’t think it’s happening. I certainly can do, and suggest that the incel attitude is not a healthy way to respond to ‘abuse’. 1/2

2/2 But I also think the reality of the situation is that’s not what is actually happening and it’s hard for me to think that these aren’t men who have had to struggle and don’t like that. Nobody likes doing that.

3/3! I also don’t think anyone should struggle and I don’t take any joy in that. And, while this might be more difficult to solve with economic policy adjustment, which I think could help a lot of people, struggle is a sign of a society with changes to be made.

Like I said this is complicated, however, I disagree that men are to blame. We are talking about youth here, and they have grown in an era of politeness and equality to women, so that is why you can't say that they are the problem. The are the Product of new Thinking.
