    Not sure why in the BBC report “plans to launch suicide pod” suddenly became “plans to sell suicide pod”..but just to be clear, the Sarco plans are free, not sold, and the launch is in Switzerland..listen to full explanation on BBC world service in AM..

    Dr Duckworth, FYI, Sarco was developed following a specific request by lawyers for Tony Nicklinson, a supporter of assisted dying, I’m sure you’ll agree..Opinion: I support assisted dying – but am appalled by Switzerland’s suicide machine

    Stop trying to redefine suicide - the only distinction is between rational and irrational suicide. If an adult knows what they’re doing they have a right to assistance. ‘Assisted dying isn't suicide - conflating two does disservice to those in need'
