So, this discussion is denied by Lise Meitner herself, who acknowledged that the discovery of Barium as product of fission of Uranium was only possible because Hahn was an excellent chemist. Of course she should've received the Nobel, but because of the results interpretation.

Not sure which discussion you mean. I trust Sime's biography. But of course Hahn was an excellent chemist and deserved the Nobel. He did not make quite such a fine showing morally, though he did assist with Meitner's escape.
